Product update
Clearer vehicle swap workflows
Swap appointments keep drop-off and pick-up cars visible together when you book, work the session, and review the schedule.

A swap is two cars—not one visit with a forgotten second VIN.
Why we built it
Vehicle swap event types require a drop-off car and a pick-up car. Staff were losing track of the second vehicle between Create New Event, the walkthrough session, Create event home, and Schedule details. Clearer vehicle swap workflows keeps both cars labeled end to end—calendar rows can show ↔ between names, session work uses a Vehicle swap card with Drop off and Pick up rows, and detail panels link to each car record so swaps finish without reopening the appointment to remember which Porsche stays and which goes home.
Who it is for
- Storage and service teams running Require two vehicles (swap) event types.
- Admins configuring swap behavior in Configure event types or the event type wizard Swaps preset.
- Anyone booking from Create an appointment or Use the Create event home.
What you can do
- Choose a swap event type and assign primary and secondary vehicles during booking.
- See both cars on the Schedule detail panel and in list labels when a secondary vehicle is set.
- Work the visit in a session layout that separates Drop off and Pick up with thumbnails and links.
- Return to the dashboard or progress views without the pick-up car disappearing from context.

How it fits your day
Confirm event types that need two cars have Require two vehicles (swap) enabled before go-live. When a customer drops one exotic and collects another, book once with both VINs so parking, photos, and billing attach to the right units. If only one car appears in the UI, edit the event and fill in the missing secondary vehicle before starting the walkthrough.
Get started
Open an existing swap appointment on Schedule, confirm Drop off and Pick up both show in the detail panel, then Open Event and verify the session header lists both cars before you capture photos.
