Clearer contract amendment review

Why we built it

Signed storage agreements often need small updates—rates, vehicle rows, or amendable clauses—without voiding the whole contract. Clearer contract amendment review improves that path so staff can review multiple approved changes together, confirm before anything saves, and rely on automatic customer notification when your template requires it. Each save adds a numbered version; summaries and PDFs from earlier versions stay available so audits and “what did we agree to in March?” questions have a clear answer.

• Open a signed contract’s manage page and edit only amendable fields your template allows.
• Review batched edits in one confirmation step before Apply amendment writes a new version.
• Let the app notify the customer when re-signature or notice is required by the template.
• Use the Versions panel to preview or download any preserved copy—not just the latest PDF.

How it fits your day

Amendments are for controlled template updates—not replacing the wrong customer or vehicle entirely. When intake prompts ask whether to add or remove a car on a required agreement, that flow shares the same version history; choose Not now if the PDF should stay unchanged until office staff review.
