More detailed invoice report exports

The Invoices Report shows subtotal, tax, and processing fee columns on screen and in Excel exports for cleaner reconciliation.

Month-end spreadsheets should separate what you sold from tax and card fees—not one lump sum per row.

Why we built it

The Invoices Report already gave billing teams a date-range view of customer and vendor invoices with summary cards and Excel export. More detailed invoice report exports adds subtotal, tax, and processing fee columns on the table and in the downloaded file, so bookkeepers match CSS to QuickBooks or Xero without rebuilding math in a second tab. Turn columns on or off with Columns when a role only needs totals.

Who it is for

  • Billing leads exporting invoice history for owners or external accountants.
  • Staff reconciling Collected vs bank deposits who need fee lines spelled out.
  • Facilities using Detailed accounting sync results who still spot-check reports before sync runs.

What you can do

  • Open Invoices Report, set your date range, and read summary cards before drilling into rows.
  • Show Subtotal, Tax, and Processing fee alongside status, amount, and due date—use Columns to fit your screen.
  • Export Export as Excel with the same breakdown for the period on screen.
  • Click any row to open invoice detail when a line needs resend, collect, or mark-paid work.

Excel exports use the same date range and column breakdown you see in the browser.

How it fits your day

Use the extra columns when you explain “what was service vs pass-through fees” to a customer or accountant. For a single disputed bill, still open Review a customer invoice—the report is for scanning many invoices at once.

Get started

Walk through Review the Invoices Report for date presets, column controls, and export steps. Pair exports with Use the Payments overview dashboard when you need charts before diving into line-level detail.
