Product update
More consistent international phone entry
Country-aware phone fields with shared formatting now appear across staff, customer, vendor, facility, and public forms.

The same phone control should behave the same everywhere someone types a number.
Why we built it
Facilities serve collectors worldwide, but phone inputs used to vary by screen—some plain text boxes, some US-only masks, some storage formats that broke SMS and caller ID. More consistent international phone entry rolls out the shared country selector + national number control (backed by the same country list and E.164-style storage) across customer and contact records, vendors, team members, facility and location settings, public registration, marketplace checkout, booking flows, RSVP forms, and vendor invoice portals. Team defaults still pick a sensible default country from facility address settings so domestic teams are not forced through extra clicks.
Who it is for
- Front desk staff creating customers in Prepare your first customer and car.
- Admins editing facility SMS and voice numbers under Communications and locations.
- Customers and leads on public registration, marketplace, and event forms who enter mobile numbers outside the US.
What you can do
- Pick a country and enter a national number; the app normalizes what is stored for Twilio, search, and display.
- See the same control on Create customer, contacts, vendors, team invite/edit, and your profile phone fields.
- Collect phones on registration, booking, and checkout without a separate US-only field.
- Pair with Multiple phone numbers for contacts for labeled extra lines on records.

How it fits your day
Set your team’s country once in facility settings so new records default to the right dial code. When a collector moves abroad, change the country on their mobile before sending SMS campaigns or staff alerts. Imports may still need column cleanup—storage expects valid numbers after edit.
Get started
Create a test customer with a non-US mobile, save, and confirm the number displays consistently on the contact record and in search. Then open your public registration link and verify the same country picker appears for new sign-ups.
