Why we built it
Template setup combines upload intelligence and editor ergonomics. PDFs already suggest customer, vehicle, contact, and signature fields more reliably—including schedule tables—via Smarter contract field suggestions. Faster contract template setup adds the day-to-day editing wins: snap-to-line placement and sizing on underlines, Shift-drag to move groups together, duplicate / paste that advances to the next vehicle or contact row, and an Editor gestures & shortcuts guide in the template editor so staff discover Alt bypass, arrow nudges, and copy/paste without a training session.

What you can do
- Drop fields so they lock onto printed lines and resize to blank width (hold Alt/Option to place freely).
- Shift-drag a lasso to reposition a whole row of car or customer fields at once.
- Duplicate or ⌘C / ⌘V a selection; copies step to the next schedule row when snap targets allow.
- Open Editor controls and shortcuts from the template toolbar for the visual guide and hotkeys.
How it fits your day
Upload the PDF, accept vehicle column suggestions, snap the first row, duplicate through remaining garage lines, then spot-check signatures. Publish when the guide’s checklist matches your attorney’s layout.
Get started
Open any template in Settings → Contracts, click the guide control, duplicate one vehicle row, and confirm the pasted fields land on the next blank line before sending a test contract.
